Who ANC is looking for...

A senior-level project manager responsible for leading the Project team through pre-construction planning, budgeting and scheduling stages with clients to achieve successful project completion, turnover and contract closeout.

The right candidate will exhibit...

Leadership Skills

  • Oversee complete project management processes, including leading Project team, ensuring project completion within budget, on-schedule and in conformance with design specifications.
  • Provide innovative solutions to problems and successfully navigate obstacles.
  • Provide process improvement including evaluation and development of work flows to increase efficiencies.
  • Achieve an integrated team approach by assisting all departments including Sales, Estimating, Finance (Project Budgets), and Services.
  • Collaborate with department senior leadership and business stakeholders to execute short- and long-term planning.
  • Lead Project team meetings.

Management Skills

  • Serve as point of contact with clients and provide excellent and consistent customer service.
  • Identify and manage risk through scope, schedule and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and security policies and procedures, including personnel certifications.
  • Use pre-planning skills to identify obstacles and reduce or prevent errors, delays, and cost overruns.
  • Maintain project budget, cost control, and Change Order management with open lines of communication with owners and subcontractors; negotiations with subcontractors for fabrication and installation.
  • Prepare scopes of work for each subcontractor, based on sales/estimating documents.
  • Review and approve all project forecasts, schedules, cost estimates, budgets.
  • Assist Estimation team in evaluation of proposals and bids.

Development Ability

  • Analyze design-build features, systems, equipment, and material selections to achieve essential functions at the lowest cost with required performance quality. 
  • Refine processes including project documentation, reports, schedules, and budgets.
  • Review scope with estimators to interpret cost estimates, scope of work, obtain subcontractor quotes.

The right candidate has

  • Proven success leading a project management team within a related industry.
  • Project Management Certifications or courses (preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree highly (preferred); however, Associate degree or certifications in related field meets qualifications.
  • Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to interact confidently, professionally with all departments, including senior management.
  • Strong communication, leadership, adaptability, reporting, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in providing quality assurance checks, reporting and documentation. 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to travel approximately 70% of time.
