Position Overview
An integral aspect of our company’s growth story is to not just design, integrate and operate our extraordinary visual display systems, but to imagine and realize the creative content experience of what’s happening on the screens as well. We currently build and deliver a significant amount of graphic content for our network of clients on a weekly basis (such as stadium videoboard graphics for games), but we also have the opportunity to drive the creative process from the start where the creative experience is conceived in addition to just servicing it downstream with graphical elements. Additionally, as the need to make real world places more experiential becomes ever more apparent, there is the leading opportunity to initiate new projects by helping clients imagine the art of the possible from a content-first perspective (in addition to our legacy screen/hardware-first model), which we would then deliver end-to-end.

As Director, Creative Services, you will be our sales and account lead who drives our emergent creative services opportunity. You will work with prospective and existing clients to identify and sell-in our service of defining and producing creative experiences that align with our Sports, Events, and Places markets. You will organize and collaborate with our creative teams to define and package the right ideas to win client business. And you will maintain our creative service account relationships and have oversight of our creative and production teams delivering in gold-standard fashion for those client engagements. As such, the position is approximately 75% Sales/BD focused, and 25% general management of the new Creative Services business

Finally, our ambitions are great, and so we are looking for a hybrid/multi-faceted candidate to help realize them. The candidate must be able to drive sales, but also can structure and lead a creative pitch and maintain project oversight to ensure delivery, as well as grow the business.

The right candidate will be willing and able to…

  • Lead the definition and packaging of our Creative Services (CS) business.
  • Prospect and close standalone CS opportunities where defining an experience can be the lead piece of business (as opposed to our legacy of following on the hardware-first sales).
  • Deliver on revenue/gross margin targets from CS sales with expectations of strong year-over-year growth.
  • Collaborate with our existing sales organization to bring our CS pitch into our ongoing sales opportunities and existing pipeline of screen-first projects.
  • Work with our RFP team to help respond and deliver to leading proposals.
  • Identify and collaborate with third party creative studios to be involved in our projects.
  • Oversee project execution with accountability for delivering on-time, on-budget, and with gold standard quality of work.
  • Organize and collaborate with our creative teams to develop winning pitches/concepts.
  • Manage accounts and client relationships on an ongoing basis.
  • Collaborate with marketing to define and build the ANC Studios brand.

The right candidate has…

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in selling creative services in related field such as a design agency, experiential agency, or content studio.
  • A demonstrated understanding of the experiential markets in which we are seeking to expand, ideally with an existing network of contacts/leads.
  • Examples of successful concepts and pitches for which the candidate was the lead.
  • Delivered/exceeded revenue targets selling content & creative services to leading enterprises.
  • Worked in a high-paced, accountable, quota-driven environment.
  • Experience working with creative teams and overseeing delivery.
  • Executive Presence - a polished professional who aligns with our Excellence in Everything ethos and brings value as client-facing.
